This is a short instructional video on programming the i-Cooking Induction control.
In the first edition of the manual is a wrong programming instruction is printed. The latest versions [from Rev. 100506] have the correct instructions. This manual is also available for download through the download section.
The control must be configured prior to initial use. To do this, follow these steps.
Remove any pot from the induction elements.
Switch of the electrical power to the appliance.
Wait 10 seconds before switching the power back on.
Start programming within 2 minutes after you switched on the power. Avoid using the on/off switch en use for the programming a pan with a minimum diameter off 16cm. Don't use any other pan during the programming.
Delete current configuration:
A. Press on ”p“ and keep this pressed until the ”-“symbol flashes on all zones.
B. Keep the switch pressed and use your other hand to, start from right below, counter clockwise, press every display [shorter than 2 seconds per display]. When you hear a double peep you have to start over again starting at A.
C. Relieve all switches en press a few seconds on the simmerswitch, until a flashing ”E“ symbol appears.
D. Wait until the flashing ”E“ symbol stops flashing. After a few seconds the ”E“ codes will change into ”C“ codes.
attn.: for a configuration with 3 zones the session starts right-top instead of right-below.
New configuration:
Use a pan with a minimum diameter off 16cm. Don't use any other pan during the programming.
E. Chose a display position, by pressing the corresponding code ”C“ . Put a pan onto the desired position and wait until the code ”C“ changes into code ”-“. This inductionelement is now teamed with the switch position.
F. Repeat this procedure with the other induction fields. If all fields are teamed all displays will be switched off.
Code E4 Program the control again, start with removing the current configuration. When this doesn't help please contact your kitchen retailer.
