2de generation i-Cooking gas cooktops

The KPGM gas cooktops are the second generation i-Cooking gas hobs. The successful concept of the original i-Cooking hobs is hereby continued. They differ from the KOONAKA gas hob by their thinner drip tray. The stainless steel drip tray is 2.5mm thick instead off 4mm. The cooktops are designed to be mounted on top of a worktop or as flush mounted,  recessed in a groove in which they are glued. They can be used in all kinds of worktop material (HPL, composites, stone, etc.). Furthermore the total installation height is reduced (65 instead of 96 mm) so you need less space in the cupboard.

UPDATE: Starting 2018, our strong burners will no longer be for sale. In our ongoing products they'll be replaced by our standard burners.


KPGM wokbrander brandend 250The burner system is fully updated with the latest high efficiency gas burners. All burners are made of aluminum with 1 or 2 enameled burner caps. The WOK burner is a so-called double ring burner. The inner burner  can be used as simmer burner and with the outer ring ringing you wok. The maximum power is 5kW. Both burner rings are simultaneously operated by 1 gasvalve.

Pan support options
  • Optionally there is a special WOK pan support available, especially suited for a WOK with a round bottom.
  • For small pans, a cross shaped support grid is available.

The other burners are single ring burners. The capabilities for the simmer, standard burner and power burners are  1kW, 1.7kW and 3kW.

Materials and safety

The gas hobs are fitted with black enameled pan supports, metal knobs, electrical spark ignition and thermocouple flame security. There is a 1.5m power cord and the gaspipe has a 1/2 "conical external thread.

Service friendly design

The hob is designed in such a way that in case of a failure the hob doesn’t have to be cut lose from the mastic seam unlike the "regular" gas hobs. The bottom can be screwed lose from underneath the hob allowing components to be accessed. The drip tray remains in the mastic seam and does not need to be sealed again.
